Computer Viruses

Nearly every computer (particularly every home computer) I fix has viruses in it. (To be technical, that includes trojans, malware and spyware). And they're what cause a lot of the the problems people have with their computers, so they're costing you money. Prevention is definitely better than cure when it comes to computer viruses.

Spyware means that criminals can hack into your information and steal bank account passwords and so on.

You don't need me to tell you that this is serious stuff.

I can protect you from these computer viruses, malware, spyware etc.

I'll:

• Uninstall old obsolete Anti-Virus software (as new computer viruses are developed all the time, the software needs upgrading regularly
  
• 'Scrub' your computer clean of any computer viruses, malware, trojans and spyware that are lurking in your system
  
• Install the best anti-virus software out there. The great thing is that this is free to home users, and will update itself manually. (Be wary of anybody who tries to sell you anti-virus software - you may be sure commission is involved somehow.)

Now, in practice I don't recommend doing this job by itself, I recommend you do the full computer maintenance service which includes this. But if you want this service it costs €30.00 including VAT, if you can either bring your computer to me or you have broadband so I can do this online.
